Where can I buy these?
The Hellbound Heart and Clive Barker's A-Z of Horror are still in print and are sold in the Amazon.com Associate Store. The rest are hard to find. Try the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

How is this page organized?
This page is divided into 3 main sections: "The Hellbound Heart," "Other Stories" and "About Hellraiser." The first section documents every known publication of Clive Barker's novella The Hellbound Heart. This is the story on which HR1 is based. The second section covers -- what I consider to be -- official Hellraiser stories. The third section contains authorized books about Hellraiser or containing sections on Hellraiser.

The first section is sorted by year, country, and form. This information is listed on the second line, e.g. 1986 - UK - hardcover. The second section is sorted by year. The third section is sorted alphabetically by title, then by year, country and form. The country is designated with a standard Internet country code. The full list can be found here.

 Comics

Where can I buy these?
They're long out of print. Try back issue bins at comic shops or ask on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

Why aren't there more covers I can click on?
As I continue to make encyclopedias for these comics, I will add larger scans of the covers as I go.

Is Larry Wachowski the guy who made The Matrix?
Yes he is. Many now-famous people worked on the comic series. Bernie Wrightson, Miguel Ferrer, Bill Mumy, Neil Gaiman, Dave McKean, and Alex Ross are some of the most famous people.

I've never heard of "HellBreed." What is it?
It was only released in England. It was a Clive Barker fan magazine that focused on Hellraiser and Nightbreed. It reprinted old comic stories and had interviews with Barker and Bradley. It was canceled after only three issues.

 Cœnobium

Where can I buy these?
Nowhere, right now.

Where's the rest of the information?
I'm waiting for one of the magazine's creators to email it to me.

If this is a homemade zine, shouldn't this section be with all the FanArt stuff?
True, this isn't an official Hellraiser magazine. However, it was as close to the real deal as you could get. The publishers had many contacts with the folks who made the movies. Additionally, it really is a collectible. Unlike digital fanzines like this website, Cœnobium is something you can hold in your hands, read anywhere, and store in plastic bags with backing boards in them.

 Video Recordings

Where can I buy these?
Some of this stuff is sold in the Amazon.com Associate Store. The rest you can ask about in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

How is this page organized?
entries are sorted first alphabetical by media (dark blue bar: DVD, LD, etc.), then by movie (light blue bar: Collections, HR1, HR2, etc.), then secordary information. The secondary information is in bold on the second line, e.g., 2000 - Region 0 - NTSC - US. The country is designated with a standard Internet country code. The full list can be found here.

Why are some entries grey?
Gray entries are video contents that have nothing to do with Hellraiser.

What are the differences between the different versions of the movies?
I'm not sure yet. I'll make a page for this someday.

CLV? Region 0? NTSC? What does all this stuff mean?
This is s Hellraiser page, not a school. You are sitting on the largest collection of information this planet has ever seen. If you aren't intelligent enough to utilize the power of the Intenet to answer life's little questions, please remove yourself from the gene pool. Mean, ain't I?

 Audio Recordings

entries are sorted first alphabetical by media (dark blue bar: Cassettes, CDs, etc.), then by secordary information. The secondary information is in bold on the second line, e.g., 1987 - UK. The country is designated with a standard Internet country code. The full list can be found here.

What are those Coil CDs?
Originally, Clive Barker had gotten Coil to do the music for HR1. He had this to say about their music: "The only group I've heard on disc, whose records I've taken off because they made my bowels churn." After completing several tracks for the movie, Coil was replaced by Christopher Young.

Why are some songs grey?
Any song in gray is not a Hellraiser song. On the HR2 soundtrack, these are extra songs at the end of the disc from Christopher Young's soundtrack to Highpoint.

 Models

Where can I buy these?
I have no idea. I don't collect them, personally.

What's the difference between a Collectibles Model and a Homemade Model?
Sometimes, not a lot. The main difference is that a Collectibles Model is created to make money for a real company, while a Homemade Model is created for an individual's own pleasure. Usually, there are many copies of a Collectibles Model made, and only one version of a Homemade Model made.

 Tortured Souls

Where can I buy these?
I have no idea. Ask on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

Why are the Tortured Souls on a Hellraiser page?
I see the Tortured Souls as Barker's revised Cenobites. Check out Hellraiser vs Tortured Souls.

Are these Cenobites?
Not officially. Disney refuses to let McFarlane make figures out of the real movie Cenobites. McFarlane did the next best thing: hired Clive Barker to design Cenobite-like creatures. In my opinion, these creatures would be right at home in the pages of the Hellraiser comics (they are more extreme than the movie series Cenobites will ever be).

Why does Lucidique look familiar?
She strongly resembles a Cenobite version of Shuna Sassi from Nightbreed.

When is the 3rd series coming out?
Who knows.

Where can I buy these?
I have no idea. Ask on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

How is this page organized?

The secondary information is in light blue on the top line, e.g., US - Advance A. The country is designated with a standard Internet country code. The full list can be found here.

 Rave Merchandise

Where can I buy these?
I have no idea. Ask on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

What is this stuff?
It is merchandise associated with Europe's Hellraiser-themed raves. There's a whole page about this in the Influnces section called Raves.

Click on the button at the bottom of the page.

 Miscellany

Where can I buy all of these things?
I have no idea. Ask on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

What is this section for?
Simple: it's to give a home to all of the random Hellraiser collectibles out there. There aren't enough of each type of collectible in this section to justify giving them their own page yet. A few more T-shirts, however, and Miscellany will spawn a Clothing section.

 Vaporware Video Games

What is "vaporware"?
It is software that is promised, but never delivered.

Is there any way to play these games?
No. If ever a prototype surfaces, I'll be sure to post it here.

Why are Hellraiser video games doomed?
Nobody knows. It's a curse, I suppose. Still, there are always FanVideo Games to play with and Video Game References to smile at.
