Winston met the other Harrowers and together they solved the Puzzle Chamber and freed Morte Mamme. He saw her as a young girl holding a doll. He did not know what "dismemberment" meant. The sisters discovered Leviathan's lantern in the Puzzle Chamber which they helped to solve and release Morte Mamme. They saw her in the form of their Grandmother. Another had long hair and saw blades in his arms. He summoned chains to attack Ron. His flaming hand was severed by Vera's boomerang and he was burnt by her blood and spit. All but Merkova were confused by Ovid's fumes and trapped by Lucinda and Lavinia's rope before being dismembered by the Harrowers. Their remains returned to Hell.

When they released her she gave them each a weapon charged with her life-force which the Cenobites could not take. She also gave them each a different power to fight the Cenobites.

She helped solve the Puzzle Chamber and felt pleasure from feeling Mortme Mamme. She severed a Cenobites hand with her boomerang. She did not want to get to a hospital for her wounds, secretly hoping to avoid returning to deathrow.
